Like I said earlier during my testimony, while I was working with respected Unni Upadeshi’s ministry I wouldn’t take time to tune songs. If there was a good Film song around, we would copy the tune for the songs we were writing. In this particular case, I heard a Hindi song on All India Radio that went “Meethi Meethi Baaton Se Bachna Zara…” and felt the tune would be appropriate for a song. So using a similar tune and structure as the hindi song, I wrote “Mutti Mutti Vathilil “. Back in those days, believers didn’t know any film songs and so they sang this song wholeheartedly without knowing its background!
